Man Hospitalized after Converse Pedestrian Crash on FM 78

Converse, Texas (March 2, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a suspected DUI driver in Converse in northeast Bexar County Friday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place on FM 78 near Crestview Drive on Friday, March 1.
According to the authorities, a car was pulling another vehicle when the lead car broke down. The driver and another motorist pulled over and were struck by a driver who slammed into the stopped vehicles.
One person was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver who struck the victim was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
