Martha Martinez Killed in Burleson County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 36 and FM 1363

Burleson County, Texas (September 6, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed on Saturday in a two-vehicle crash at a Burleson County intersection.

The fatal crash happened around noon, on September 4, at Highway 36 and Farm-to-Market Road 1363.

DPS said a Jeep SUV was traveling northbound, and the driver was distracted inside the vehicle when they rear-ended a Ford car that was stopped and was preparing to turn onto FM 1363.

The Ford driver, Martha Martinez, 61, of Caldwell, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep driver was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
