Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision with Vehicle on Interstate 35 in Austin

Rider Hospitalized after Austin Crash on Interstate 35 near Cesar Chavez Street

Austin, Texas (August 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a vehicle in Central Austin late Tuesday night, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at about 11:23 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, in the 31-61 block of North Interstate 35 northbound lanes, just across the street from Cesar Chavez Street.

As per the report, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the interstate.

The motorcyclist sustained critical, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
