Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash on Sam Rayburn Tollway in Plano

20-Year-Old Critically Injured in Plano Motorcycle Crash on Sam Rayburn Tollway near Legacy Drive

Plano, Texas – According to a local news source, a 20-year-old was critically injured Monday evening in a motorcycle crash in Plano.

The crash happened on January 29, in the northbound lanes of the Sam Rayburn Tollway near Legacy Drive.

According to the report, a motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when he made an unsafe lane change and collided with an SUV.

The motorcyclist was transported to a Plano trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed all northbound lanes of Sam Rayburn Tollway for approximately 3 hours.

The Texas Highway Patrol is investigating is investigating the crash.
