1 Killed in Corpus Christi Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 37 near Crosstown Expressway

Corpus Christi, Texas (October 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision Sunday morning in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 10:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 37 near the Crosstown Expressway.

Police said a car and a motorcycle were heading southbound on I-37 when one of the vehicles clipped the other.

The impact caused the motorcyclist to lose control, hit the railing, and drive off of the freeway.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. They were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

An investigation is underway.
