Man Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run Crash on Katy Freeway

Houston, Texas (August 27, 2023) – A male pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:15 a.m., August 24, in the 10800 block of Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10).

Police said the man was walking or running on the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
