Man Killed in Austin Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 35 near East 7th Street

Austin, Texas (August 3, 2021) – According to the police, a man was killed early Tuesday morning in a motorcycle crash in Downtown Austin.

The deadly accident happened just after 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 access road near East 7th Street.

Police said the man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a Jeep.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The Jeep driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The crash closed the highway for several hours. It has since been reopened.

The police are investigating the crash.
