Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Rothwood Road in Houston

Rider Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Rothwood Road

Houston, Texas (November 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a Harris County Precinct Four Constable deputy’s vehicle in north Houston early Saturday morning, according to a local news source.

The deadly wreck happened at about 1:00 a.m. on Rothwood Road.

As per the report, the deputy was heading northbound on Rothwood Road while the motorcyclist traveling south on Rothwood Road.

As the deputy was approaching a curve in the road, the motorcyclist swerved out of his lane on the curve and hit the front end of the deputy’s car.

The rider was ejected from the bike upon the impact. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed was considered a factor in the crash.

No other details regarding the crash were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
