Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Crash on I-45 in Houston

One Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 45

Houston, Texas (January 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed early Friday morning in a head-on collision in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on January 29, in the southbound lanes of I-45 North, near Crosstimbers.

Police said a Nissan SUV was approaching 610 when he saw a black Honda motorcycle that was traveling northbound in the wrong direction.

The Nissan driver attempted to avoid the motorcyclist, but they collided head-on.

The Nissan driver stopped and called 911 after the accident.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
