Naji Kayruz ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Interstate 10 near Milsa Drive
San Antonio, Texas (February 6, 2019) – The man who was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run bicycle accident in San Antonio has been identified as Naji Tanios Kayruz, 58, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The accident happened on Monday, February 4, on the access road of I-10 near Milsa Drive.
Police said Mellisa Peoples, 48, was driving an SUV when she hit Kayruz who was riding a bike, for unknown reasons.
Kayruz was killed in the crash.
Peoples fled the scene after the accident, but she was later arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.
The San Antonio police are investigating the crash.
