Nazario Armando Hit, Killed by Motorcycle on IH-14 in Coryell County

Nazario Armando Killed in Coryell County Pedestrian Accident on IH-14 near Bell Tower Road

Coryell County, Texas (May 9, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a motorcycle Sunday evening in Coryell County, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:49 p.m., May 8, on IH-14, near the Bell Tower Road exit.

Police said Nazario Garcia Armando, 65, of Copperas Cove, was walking in the center of the outside lane when he was struck by a westbound 2019 Yamaha model motorcycle.

Armando was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old, was ejected from the motorcycle and was taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple with incapacitating injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
