Coffee City Reserve Police Officer Injured in Houston Car Accident on U.S. Highway 290

Houston, Texas (July 28, 2019) – A Coffee City reserve police officer was injured while helping a crash victim in Houston Saturday, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 290 Saturday, July 27.

Authorities said the officer was assisting at a traffic accident involving two vehicles when a van clipped a fire truck and a tow truck, then struck the officer.
