Officer Injured in Crash on Bay Area Boulevard in Houston

HPD Officer Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Bay Area Boulevard near Gulf Freeway

Houston, Texas (July 30, 2023) – An HPD officer was injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m., July 29, on Bay Area Boulevard near the Gulf Freeway.

Police said the officer was involved in a crash with a pickup truck.

The officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. A passenger in the truck was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
