Police Officer Injured in Bryan Two-Vehicle Crash on Ursuline Avenue at East Villa Maria Road

Bryan, Texas (May 26, 2021) – According to the police, a police officer was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Bryan.

The crash happened on May 22, in the 3100 block of East Villa Maria Road at the intersection of Ursuline Avenue.

Police said a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling eastbound in the 1600 block of Ursuline Avenue when the driver failed to control their speed at a curve and crashed into a patrol unit.

The officer was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Chevrolet driver was cited for failure to control speed and no valid driver’s license. They were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
