Richard May Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Teri Road

Austin, Texas (April 29, 2021) – The man who was injured in a pedestrian accident earlier this month in Austin has died, according to the police.

Richard May, 66, succumbed to his injuries on April 22.

The accident happened around 10:43 p.m., April 7, on Teri Road.

Police said May was walking when he was struck by a 2006 Dodge Ram truck.

May was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where he died on April 22.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with any information about the accident is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at 512-974-6935.
