One Injured in Denton Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35 near Post Oak Drive

Denton, Texas (November 23, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Denton, according to police.

The crash occurred just after 3:15 a.m., November 22, on Interstate 35 near Post Oak Drive.

Police said the crash involved a small car and an 18-wheeler.

The car went underneath the trailer of the 18-wheeler during the collision.

The car driver had to be extricated from her vehicle. She sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of the interstate for over an hour.

The police are investigating the crash.
