Waco, Texas (March 7, 2020) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Waco, according to the police.

Police said a silver Mercedes was heading southbound when the driver suffered a cardiac episode, causing them to swerve into the oncoming lane. The Mercedes then clipped a Toyota Tacoma. The impact caused the Tacoma to collide with the vehicle behind the Mercedes.

The Mercedes driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

We wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
