Man Using Walker Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Zarzamora Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 25, 2019) – A man using a walker was killed in a pedestrian accident on Saturday in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred on Saturday, August 24, on Zarzamora Street, just north of Loop 410.

Police said the man was walking northbound in the southbound lanes of Zarzamora when he was by a pickup truck. He was returning home from a convenience store when the accident occurred.

Officers said there are no sidewalks in the area.

The man was declared dead at the scene.

The pickup driver said she didn’t see the man because it was dark.

The crash remains under investigation.
