One Injured in Car Crash at 98th and Indiana in Lubbock

One Injured in Lubbock Car Accident at 98th and Indiana

Lubbock, Texas (February 14, 2021) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic collision in Lubbock, according to police.

The crash occurred around 5:40 p.m., February 12, at the intersection of 98th and Indiana.

According to police, they pulled up on a vehicle burglary in progress in a United parking lot at 1701 50th Street. The burglary suspect took off in his vehicle and was pursued by the police. 

The suspect crashed into a passenger car at the intersection of 98th and Indiana. He continued and crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of 98th and Knoxville, where he stopped and was taken into custody.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit at 98th and Indiana sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

The police are conducting the investigation.
