One Injured in Lubbock Multi-Vehicle Crash on South Loop 289 near Memphis Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (December 31, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 9:34 p.m., December 30, in the westbound lanes of South Loop 289, west of Indiana Avenue, near Memphis Avenue.

According to the report, multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

One pickup truck struck a fence on South Loop 289. Another vehicle rolled off of the access road onto the grass nearby.

One person sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of the South Loop 289.

The crash remains under investigation.
