One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1585 and CR 1300 in Lubbock County

One Injured in Lubbock County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1585 and CR 1300

Lubbock County, Texas (May 30, 2021) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Lubbock County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m., May 28, at the intersection of FM 1585 and County Road 1300, south of Wolfforth.

DPS said a pickup truck pulling a trailer was traveling westbound on FM 1585 and was being followed by a passenger car.

The driver of the passenger car failed to control their speed and rear-ended the trailer.

The driver of the car was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
