One Killed in Chase Crash at Fratt and Rittiman Roads in San Antonio

One Killed in San Antonio Three-Vehicle Crash at Fratt Road and Rittiman Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 21, 2021) – One person was killed early Sunday morning after a chase ended in a three-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Fratt Road and Rittiman Road.

Deputies said they were pursuing a driver who was driving recklessly and hitting curbs and was heading the wrong-way on Tarrasa.

The driver ran several traffic lights, drove into the wrong lane, and crashed into a semi-mule and a Camry at the intersection.

The Camry driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The driver who caused the crash was arrested and taken into custody.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
