1 Killed and 1 Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 1604

San Antonio, Texas (June 24, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in San Antonio, according to deputies.

The fatal crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Loop 1604.

Deputies said a pickup truck was traveling northbound when the driver swerved into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a car.

The car driver was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The pickup driver was taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash closed both directions of Loop 1604 at Pue Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
