One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 153 at Poe Corner in Runnels County

One Person Killed in Runnels County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 153 at Poe Corner near Winters

Runnels County, Texas (March 14, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Runnels County, west of Winters, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened on Highway 153 at Poe corner.

Deputies said two vehicles collided head-on, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

One person was killed in the crash.

Another person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash closed the highway between FM 1677 and CR 300.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
