Bryan, Texas (July 31, 2020) – One person was seriously injured in a rollover crash Thursday evening in Bryan, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred on July 30, on Highway 6 by the Texas Avenue split near Davila Middle School.

Police said an SUV made an improper lane change and struck the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup swerved, and the truck rolled at least eight times, ejecting the driver.

Officers said the pickup driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but family members said the victim had a broken back, broken ribs and contusions all over his lungs, and could be paralyzed.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

We wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
