Patrick Griffin Injured in Valley View Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Valley View, Texas (October 8, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Valley View, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 10:57 a.m., October 6, on I-35 near the 487-mile marker.

According to a preliminary investigation, 53-year-old Patrick Griffin was driving a Dodge one-ton truck with a gooseneck flatbed southbound when he veered into the left lane and rear-ended a cushion truck.

Griffin was airlifted to a Denton hospital with unknown injuries.

A Forney resident was taken to Medical City Denton for treatment.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
