Good Samaritan Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Almeda Road

Houston, Texas (December 6, 2020) – A Good Samaritan was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night in Houston, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 10:15 p.m., December 5, in the 12100 block of Almeda Road.

Authorities said an SUV pulled out of a parking lot and was T-boned by a small southbound car.

The car caught fire after the crash.

The SUV driver ran over to help the driver of the other car to get out, but while he was standing in the road, he was struck by a northbound car that then fled the scene.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

The driver of the small car was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
