Man Injured in Central Austin Pedestrian Crash on I-35 near 41st Street

Austin, Texas (May 24, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in Central Austin Wednesday night.
According to the Austin-Travis County EMS, the collision occurred shortly before 7:53 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, on the lower deck of I-35 near 41st Street.
It’s unclear how the pedestrian was hit.
The victim was sent to Dell Seton Medical Center with major injuries. His identity was not immediately released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
