One Killed in Los Indios Pedestrian Accident on US 281

Los Indios, Texas (July 23, 2020) – A person was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Los Indios, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened on US 281.

DPS said a person was walking eastbound in the middle of the road when they were struck by a westbound vehicle.

The driver stopped to render aid.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
