Man Seriously Injured in Killeen Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Old FM 440 Road

Killeen, Texas (February 29, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday night in Killeen, according to the police.

The accident happened around 10:53 p.m. February 26, in the 1100 block of Old Farm to Market Road 440.

Police said a man was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Investigators obtained video footage, and the suspect vehicle was identified. It was described as a white two-tone Ford F250 or 350 pickup truck, 4×4 crew cab with an extended bed, and a large head rack on its roof. The model is between 2002 and 2005, and it would have front end damage.
