Pedro Ybarra, Larissa Ybarra Hurt in San Marcos Pedestrian Crash at N. LBJ Drive and Hutchison Street

San Marcos, Texas (February 12, 2019) – A father and his daughter were hurt when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Marcos on Saturday night, according to the police.
The accident occurred at about 10:29 p.m. February 9 at the intersection of N. LBJ Drive and Hutchison Street.
Police said Pedro Ybarra, 54, and his daughter, Larissa Ybarra, 23, were crossing the Hutchison crosswalk when they were hit by a vehicle.
The two victims were transported to Seton Hays. Pedro had severe head injuries and possible brain damage. Larissa was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene. The driver was operating a maroon-colored 2007-2010 model four-door Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle probably has damage to the driver’s side bumper.
The San Marcos Police Department is investigating the incident.
