One Injured in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on E. Rundberg Lane near I-35

Austin, Texas (July 17, 2020) – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a car Friday morning in north Austin, according to officials.

The accident happened around 9:39 a.m. in the 900 block of E. Rundberg Lane, just east of Interstate 35.

Officials said the pedestrian was struck by a car, for unknown reasons, on the street.

The victim was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other details were available.

An investigation is underway.
