One Killed in West Dallas Pedestrian Accident at Singleton Boulevard and Chalk Hill Road

Dallas, Texas (September 23, 2023) – A person was hit and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning in West Dallas, according to officials.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:30 a.m., September 22, at the intersection of Singleton Boulevard and Chalk Hill Road.

Officials said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Singleton Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian who was in the middle of the roadway.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
