One Seriously Injured in Central Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 27

Lubbock, Texas (April 12, 2021) – A person was seriously injured Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Central Lubbock, according to police.

The accident was reported on April 11, in the 3800 block of Interstate 27.

Police said the person was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the interstate.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

No further details were provided.

The Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
