Peyton Irwin, Michael G. Williams, and Tiffany Williams ID’d as Three of Four Killed in Bastrop County Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas 21 at Quarter Horse Loop
Bastrop County, Texas (April 1, 2019) – Three of the four people who were killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Bastrop County have been identified as Mackenzie Irwin, 19, Michael G. Williams and Tiffany Williams, 17, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal crash happened at about 9:00 p.m. March 29, on Texas 21 at Quarter Horse Loop.
DPS said Pamela Mary Williams was driving a Toyota Corolla and was waiting for traffic to clear to turn left at the intersection when the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup failed to control his speed and crashed into the Corolla.
Pamela was taken to the Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition. Her passengers, Irwin, Michael, Tiffany, and a 12-year-old girl, were pronounced dead at the scene. Three of the victims were sisters. They were heading to a dance competition in San Antonio when the collision occurred.
The truck driver, Juan Jose Hernandez, 18, and his passenger, Jacqueline Gaspar, 18, were uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
