Quinnon Gardner, Rolando Reyes Killed in 3-Car Crash on SH 103 in Angelina County

Quinnon Gardner and Rolando Reyes Killed in Angelina County Three-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 103

Angelina County, Texas (October 28, 2023) – Two people were killed Thursday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Angelina County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m., October 26, on State Highway 103.

DPS said a 2009 Ford Flex was traveling eastbound when it traveled into the oncoming lane and struck a 2009 Chevrolet pickup that was towing a lowboy trailer. The lowboy trailer then detached from the truck and struck a 2012 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Ford Flex, Quinnon Gardner, 44, of Center, and the driver of the 2009 Chevrolet, Rolando Reyes, 36, of Lufkin, were pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the 2012 Chevrolet, Brian Massey, 42, of Lufkin, and his passenger were uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
