Arthur Calbert Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Eastex Freeway in Beaumont

Arthur Calbert ID’d as Man Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Eastex Freeway
Beaumont, Texas (February 14, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in Beaumont has been identified as Arthur Lee Calbert, 36, of Beaumont, according to police.
The deadly accident was reported at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, February 12 in the 7400 block of Eastex Freeway.
Police said Calbert was struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound in the outside lane of the freeway.
Calbert was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver involved remained at the scene after the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
