Port Arthur, Texas (July 13, 2019) – A 32-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle crash early Friday morning in Port Arthur, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at about 12:35 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Memorial Boulevard and 25th Street.
Police said Ray Jones, 32, of Port Arthur, was riding a bicycle when he was struck by an SUV that left the scene after the incident.
Jones was transported to a hospital with critical injuries and was expected to make a full recovery.
The vehicle involved was only identified as a black SUV.

The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating the incident.
