Ronald Otis and Bobbie Otis ID’d as Two Killed in San Augustine County Crash at FM 1277 and SH 103
San Augustine County, Texas (January 19, 2019) –Authorities have identified two people who were killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in San Augustine County as Ronald Otis, 79, of Braoddus and Bobbie Otis, 79.
The horrific accident happened at an unspecified time Friday, January 18 at the intersection of FM 1277 and SH 103.
According to a report, Ronald was driving a Nissan when he failed to yield the right of way at FM 1277 and drifted into the path of a Chevy SUV driven by Ireece Nutt, 64, of Houston, on SH 103.
Ronald and his passenger, Bobbie, both died at the scene. Nutt was taken to a Lufkin hospital with unspecified injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
