Ruben Griego Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on NW Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (November 21, 2022) – The man who was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio has been identified as Ruben Griego, 25, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

The deadly accident happened around 11:53 p.m., November 19, in the 5800 block of NW Loop 410.

Police said Griego got into an argument with his girlfriend and decided to get out of the car. He was walking eastbound on the highway when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene on foot.

Griego was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police located the driver in the 5800 block of Stemmons. He was arrested and booked for Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Death.

The police are investigating the crash.
