Sameena Muhammad-Thomas Killed in Hill County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Hill County, Texas (July 8, 2020) – The driver who was killed Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Abbott, Hill County has been identified as 27-year-old Sameena Muhammad-Thomas, of Dallas, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m. July 6, on Interstate 35 northbound near mile-marker 359.

DPS said a Hyundai Accent hydroplaned, lost control and was struck by a truck tractor semi-trailer.

The Hyundai driver, Muhammad-Thomas, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
