Sebastian Medina-Page ID’d as Person Killed in Austin Work Accident at Hurst Creek Arm
Austin, Texas (February 27, 2019) – The person who was killed Thursday afternoon in an industrial accident in Austin has been identified as Sebastian Medina-Page, 38, according to authorities.
The deadly work accident took place in the Hurst Creek Arm area of Lake Travis Thursday, February 21.
According to a report, Medina-Page was called to the area to fix a broken water pump at a private residence. He went underwater to repair but reportedly did not resurface.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and performed CPR on Medina-Page, but he did not survive and was declared dead at the scene.
As per the report, it appeared a tangled tether contributed to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
