Sergio Mitchell Killed in Denison Pedestrian Accident on Spur 503

Denison, Texas (May 18, 2021) – The person who was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Denison has been identified as Sergio Mitchell, 34, according to the police.

An online petition started on the website Change.org identified the victim as Sammi Mitchell-Henderson.

The deadly accident happened just before midnight, May 12, on Spur 503.

Police said Mitchell was struck by a vehicle on the roadway.

Mitchell was taken to the hospital, where they succumbed to the injuries on Friday, May 14.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
