Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway

Houston, Texas (October 11, 2023) – A man was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:35 p.m., October 7, in the 7715 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said the man was walking on the main lanes of the freeway from the eastbound to the westbound side when he was struck by a southbound bronze GMC Sierra pickup truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Sierra driver remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
