Stephanie Montoya Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

El Paso, Texas (December 10, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a wrong-way crash Thursday morning in El Paso, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 a.m., December 9, on Interstate 10 near Clint.

Officials said a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into a westbound vehicle.

The wrong-way driver, Stephanie Montoya, was killed in the crash.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
