Timmy Daniels Killed in Ector County Motorcycle Accident on Tripp Avenue at Swan Road

Ector County, Texas (October 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision Thursday evening in Ector County, according to a local news release.

The accident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on October 10, in the area of Tripp Avenue and Swan Road.

According to the report, Timmy Daniels, 54, of Odessa, was riding a Big Dog motorcycle southbound on Tripp Avenue. 

Alan Aguirre-Acosta, 20, was driving a Nissan Murano northbound on Tripp Avenue when he attempted to turn westbound onto Swan Road and hit Daniels.

Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Aguirre-Acosta was uninjured, but a passenger in his vehicle was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
