Victor Powell Killed in 18-Wheeler Crash on I-14 in Nolanville

Victor Powell Killed in Nolanville Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 14 

Nolanville, Texas (April 27, 2023) – The man who was killed on Monday in a multi-vehicle crash in Nolanville has been identified as 43-year-old Victor Powell of Austin, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on April 24, on Interstate 14 West near the Paddy Hamilton Road exit.

Police said a Pontiac collided with an 18-wheeler. A pickup truck stopped to help but was struck by another vehicle. An 18-wheeler carrying 8,500 gallons of fuel then crashed into all of the vehicles.

The impact caused the 18-wheeler to burst into flames.

The 18-wheeler driver, Powell, was killed in the crash.

The other people sustained minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
