Willard Bateman Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard near Manor Road

Austin, Texas – The person who was killed on December 22 in a pedestrian accident in East Austin has been identified as 64-year-old Willard Bateman, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:49 p.m., in the 2200 block of Airport Boulevard the Manor Road.

Police said Bateman was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The driver was not intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
