William Robert Kendrick, Rebecca Marsh Kendrick, Kaycee Ann Kendrick and Coty Ray Shrum ID’d as Four Killed in Hallsville Plane Crash
Hallsville, Texas (March 12, 2019) – The four people who were killed Saturday when a small plane crashed in a wooded area in East Texas have identified as the pilot, William Robert Kendrick, 51, of Huffman, and passengers Rebecca Marsh Kendrick, 47, of Huffman, Kaycee Ann Kendrick, 27, of Farmers Branch and Coty Ray Shrum, 25, of Farmers Branch, according to authorities.
The tragic accident happened on Saturday, March 9 near Hallsville.
Authorities said the twin-engine Cessna T337C was on a flight from Dallas to New Orleans when the pilot possibly encountered severe weather. The plane then crashed three miles south of Hallsville.
All four people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
