Woman Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Bill Miller St. and Goliad in San Antonio

Woman Critically Injured in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Bill Miller Street and Goliad

San Antonio, Texas (July 13, 2020) – A woman in her 40s was critically injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to police.

The accident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on July 11, at the intersection of Bill Miller Street and Goliad.

Police said a truck was waiting at a stoplight to turn left onto Bill Miller from Goliad. When the light turned green, the driver turned left and struck the woman who was crossing the street with her grocery cart.

The truck driver fled the scene.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with severe head trauma. She was listed in critical condition.

If found, the suspect is facing charges of Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

An investigation is underway.
